The N1 Implant System: Biology, Technology & Innovation for Treating the Partial & Fully Edentulous Patient

Dr. Reena Talwar

Description:
One of the most challenging and equally satisfying treatments which we can provide to our partial and fully edentulous patients, is the ability to function. Traditional implant treatment has been a reliable method of achieving this goal for many patients. However, it doesn't come without risk and sometimes with delays, all of which directly affect patient satisfaction and quality of life. The N1 Implant System has proven to be a game changer. In a simplified 3-step technique in the majority of cases, with the added predictability of earlier osseointegration that allows patients to transition to their final prosthetic sooner. What could be better than that?

In this presentation, participants will be introduced to the newest most innovative technology for providing implant-based treatment for their patients. A complete review of the biology, technology and innovation of the N1 implant system will be presented along with case presentations for the partial and fully edentulous patient.

Objectives:

  • Review of Clinical and Radiographic Anatomy of the Maxillo-mandibular Complex
  • Digital treatment planning for the partial and fully edentulous arch
  • Introduction to the N1 Implant System: Innovative implant design and placement protocol

So many dental implants to choose from! So many treatment concepts! Some of the key points shaping these clinical decisions

Dr. Sonia Leziy

Description:
Literature documents high long term success rates of implant therapy, with clinical effectiveness of implant-supported prostheses equaling or surpassing the performance of conventional fixed or removable therapies. However, there is continued development of different implant designs, materials, surface technologies, along with evolving surgical techniques that have the common goal of improving outcomes. As a result, clinicians have a broad range of implant manufacturers and implant systems to choose from, and most of these systems include implants of more than one design. Therefore, selecting an implant system to manage the broad range of today’s clinical applications requires careful consideration. Key points include surgical and prosthetic ease of use and versatility, predictably maintained bone/soft tissue interfaces to reduce disease risk, quality assurance and enduring product support.

This presentation will highlight the Straumann system, using a digital workflow for planning and treatment execution in conventional and immediate protocols, along with surgical concepts which improve esthetics, and hard and soft tissue stability.

Energy Management for the Dental Team

Kathleen Bokrossy, RDH

Description:
Energy is defined as available power, the capacity for vigorous activity. As dental professionals, we are in constant vigorous activity all day long as we multi-task and juggle all aspects of life. Some activities and people are either energy drainers or energy boosters. Do you have any energy left at the end of the day? Creating and maintaining a work life balance is imperative in today’s world to help reduce stress and prevent burnout so that we can be present for the people who rely on us. Since most of us spend a large portion of our time at work, we need to create as energizing an environment as possible to maintain happiness, peace, and purpose. Do you believe you can have work life balance? Maintaining our energy is directly connected to the health of our patients. Imagine a world where a large percentage of your patients show up healthy. Imagine a world where you have the tools you need to provide optimal care and service. Imagine a world where, as a team, you are working cohesively. This is a world that is possible and a world that will help us get off our daily hamster wheel and into a world that is fulfilling and engaging. Are you ready to implement positive change in your practice?

Objectives:

  • Discover your energy drainers and strategies to deal with them.
  • Learn ways to work together as a team to get the things you need and want in your practice that will help make positive change for you, your practice and your patients.
  • Identify the ‘why’ it is important for the front team to understand and communicate with the back clinical staff and strategies on how to accomplish this.
