Esthetics in Orthodontics: Using Invisalign and Braces to Achieve Pre-Prosthetic Goals
Creating a beautiful smile often involves many dental practitioners and lots of teamwork. The orthodontist’s role is to set the teeth into their “ideal” positions to enable successful restorations. What tools do we use to achieve this? In this case-based lecture Dr. Tracey Hendler will discuss orthodontic tools such as braces or Invisalign that are used to achieve pre-prosthetic goals. Dr. Hendler will review the rationale and methods used to treat patients who will later receive implants, crowns, veneers and other restorative work. From this lecture, you will understand not only what is possible to achieve from pre-prosthetic orthodontics but also the treatment rationale to achieve those goals.
